           Abstract Software Ships WSI-Fonts Professional Volume #2

August 1, 1994 Seattle, WA -- Abstract Software announces the official
release of WSI-Fonts Professional Volume #2 - Decorative Collection
for NEXTSTEP.  Abstract Software's second shipping font collection
contains 110 of the most popular and unique decorative and is
available now for both Motorola and Intel hardware. (HPPA support is
slated for Q4 1994)

``Our first font collection was primarily aimed at desktop publishers
who wanted to inexpensively round off their typeface library with a
large number of popular text-setting typefaces.  By contrast, our
second collection contains many faces for titling and scripts, plus
special-purpose fonts for giving a document a certain `flair', be it
antique, childlike, digital, or nostalgic.  We also include
high-quality clones based on such popular fonts as CopperPlate, Arnold
Bocklin, FreeStyle Script, and Lithos, to name just a few,'' said Sean

As in our first collection, most fonts include the complete
International Character Sets you need to work in English, French,
Spanish, German, Swedish, Dutch, Italian, and Portuguese.  All fonts
are fully-scaleable Type 1 fonts and look great both on screen and on
paper.  Included with the collection is a font installation
application which offers easy-to-use point and click font
installation.  Once the fonts are installed they are usable with
virtually every NEXTSTEP application.  Included with the collection is
a 68-page manual, similar to the manual for WSI-Fonts Professional
Volume #1 (which NeXTWORLD magazine deemed `Exceptional.') which gives
font samples, plus descriptions of the typeface's history, potential
uses, and installation instructions.
